I am a communications strategist and social volunteer.

What we mean by communication is actually storytelling. As I tell my own story, I design projects based on the stories of people who have left a mark in my life over the years, of my business stakeholders, and of brands I consult for. As a sociologist I believe that sharing stories can create benefit for the society, and transform us.

I became an entrepreneur after a long experience in media companies and the private sector. I founded 360 Communications Agency, which since 2010 has developed communications strategies to bring together public enterprises, NGOs, and the private sector. We work with national and international brands that lay emphasis on social benefit.

I think there are miles to cover, many things to do in areas including civil society, empowerment of women, and equal opportunities. That’s why as board member I serve in projects of KAGİDER (Women Entrepreneurs Association of Turkey) as well as in projects by FODER (Financial Literacy and Inclusion Association). I am a member of the ballotage council of TUHID (Turkish Public Relations Association).

I volunteer at Darüşşafaka Society and ran one of the largest corporate donation campaigns in Turkey. I offered training for the “Women Leaders of the Future” project. Along with KAGİDER, I presented the project at United Nations as part of CSW 61 (Commission on the Status of Women).

I graduated from Üsküdar American Academy for Girls and obtained a Sociology degree in Boğaziçi University. I care about sharing my experience with young people. I told my story at TEDx Sabancı University and I teach communication at Istanbul Commerce University.

I have two sons.
